Fokofpolisiekar to rock Mercury Live

■ Fokofpolisiekar will give a free concert at Mercury Live on Thursday May 25, at 9pm. The doors will open at 7pm and entry is on a first-come first-served basis as the venue’s capacity does not allow for more than 400 people. In March, Fokofpolisiekar exceeded their crowdfunding dream target of R500 000 within nine days to fund the making of their first full-length album in 11 years. Fans continued pledging for more merchandise items and to show their appreciation, the band promised a free show in Cape Town if they reached the 
R700 000 mark.
