Christine and The Kilts

■ Cape Town’s Celtic song group, Christine and The Kilts, are preparing to take part in the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. To raise funds for the trip they will be hosting a concert called Koeksisters and Kilts on Tuesday March 20 at Artscape Theatre, at 8pm. Alan Committee will MC the evening and comedian Rob van Vuuren will make a special guest appearance, while Fleur du Cap winner, Godfrey Johnson will entertain on song and piano. Bag pipers from the Cape Field Artillery will be led by Pipe Major Grant Sheffel. The Indie rock band Mobbing Bali and the Bergvliet Royal Scottish Country Dancing group will also perform.
