Bikers from around the city braved the cold rainy morning on Monday August 10 to raise awareness about violence against women and children.Â
The event, called Sisterhood against GBV, started on the Grand Parade, where the bikers gathered in black and red, to show solidarity with those affected by gender-based violence.Â
The bikers rode from the Grand Parade via the N2 to Mitchell’s Plain, where they said they would meet up with Mayor Dan Plato and other officials.
