It was a wave of white with a touch of blue against the backdrop of Table Mountain at Hoërskool Jan van Riebeeck sports field in Tamboerskloof on Saturday February 24 as people came out to the fifth Grand White Dinner, hosted by media personality Bonang
Matheba. Among the sea of white attire were picnic baskets, tables, a stage and dance floor, where guests enjoyed music by
Mafikizolo, the star act, and other DJs and bands. The event was founded by the Holi One Colour Festival with the intention to
bridge the social divides between race and culture. Guests were asked to wear all white – symbolic of peace and unity. Pictures: Tamlynne Thompson
