The centres where the safety checks will be done include, Joe Gqaba, Philippi East; Hillstar in Ottery; Gallows Hill in Green Point; Bellville; Brackenfell; Durbanville; Goodwood and Kuils River.

The City will launch Operation Exodus on Friday April 7, focused on driver and vehicle fitness in the long-distance transport sector.
