The Cape Town CBD was a ghost town in the days leading up to the 21-day lockdown announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa on Monday March 23. Supermarkets, banks, pharmacies and public services will remain open during the lockdown which will start from Thursday March 26 to Thursday April 16.
