Consul General of Switzerland hosts cocktail reception

The Consul General of Switzerland in Cape Town, Markus Thür hosted a cocktail reception to celebrate 100 years of A Vogel health products. Phytotherapist pioneer Alfred Vogel opened his first health food store in Basel, Switzerland. Vogel’s passion for nature and health grew into a global company manufacturing medicinal products from freshly harvested plants. Seen on February 29 at the Residence of Switzerland in the Cape Town city centre are, from left, Dr David Naude, head of medical and research of SA Natural Products; Dr Nomafrench Mbombo, MEC of health and wellness; Estie Schreiber, marketing director of SA Natural Products; and Professor Ashley Ross from Durban University of Technology.
