Pigeon pedestrians By Tamlynne Thompson - Apr 23, 2020 Share on Facebook Tweet on Twitter A pigeon in Pepper Street. It seems the animals which are usually hidden from the hustle and bustle in the city centre, have taken over in the quiet streets. Here are some pictures taken at lunchtime, on Thursday April 16, when the CBD is usually at its busiest. 1 of 6 A pigeon in Pepper Street. Squirrels come out of the Companys Garden to look for food. Pigeons cross the usually busy Wale Street. Flocks of birds on Greenmarket Square, which is usually occupied by traders and tourists. The space of the food market in St Georges Mall every Thursday has been taken over by a number of birds, yet not a person in sight.
