During an address to the nation regarding the national lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus on Sunday May 24, President Cyril Ramaphosa said one of the greatest challenges the country will face with the move to Level 3 on June 1 will be the increased risk of transmission in public transport. He called on partnerships between commuters, public transport operators, businesses and government to keep people safe.
