Fog did not deter cyclists who turned up to be “as bare as they dare” ahead of Sunday’s 110km Cape Town Cycle Tour. Curious on-lookers watched as they were escorted through city streets by friendly traffic officials cycling from Colin Eglin Sea Point Library for the World Naked Bike Ride. The event is a global movement to raise awareness about protecting fossil fuels and protecting the planet. For others it was to highlight health benefits of cycling, coronavirus, climate change and pollution while others painted themselves, dressed up, had fun.
