Scores of Capetonians, attended the Museum Night Cape Town 2017, an initiative of Thursdays Projects, in collaboration with the Iziko Museums of South Africa on Thursday April 20. The aim of the initiative is to encourage people to explore the city’s resources at no charge. People were able to visit the Iziko South African Museum, the South African Jewish Museum, the Cape Town Holocaust Centre, the Gardens Shul, Iziko South African National Gallery, Iziko Slave Lodge, District Six Museum, Muller’s Museum, SA Sendinggestig Museum and the Martin Melck House.
