March against Trump

Rachel Spadafore, Karen Littau, Ravneet Gilll, Claire Burfeind and Madison Perriolat, who are from the USA, joined the march.

Hundreds of women marched from the Company’s Garden to Parliament on Saturday January 21 in solidarity with the women in Washington DC, who held a protest on the same day to pronounce a message of “resistance and self-determination” in light of the new presidential administration under the leadership of Donald Trump. The march was also used as an opportunity to highlight issues faced by South African women. Protests took place all over the world in support of USA women.
