Cape Town Partnership held this month’s CityWalks Saturday in the Company’s Garden on September 17 – the first after a two-month winter break.
Participants had the opportunity to walk in the gardens, feed squirrels, look at birds and ducks and visit the Iziko Museum. Nal’ibali, an NGO which aims to empower children through reading and storytelling, held a special City Walk edition of their Story Bosso competition in the gardens. Afterwards participants of all ages gathered to relate their tales – some original, some inherited and some read out loud. The next City Walk will be held on Saturday October 15.
