Mary Harding School in Athlone was one of the beneficiaries of the Sun City to Table Bay Charity Cycle Tour. Organisers handed over R600 000 to charity organisations during the 2 222km journey. Forty cyclists covered an average of 220 kilometers a day and stopped at 10 towns to raise awareness and money for charities. The handover for the Cape Town charities was held at the Table Bay Hotel, at the V&A Waterfront Thursday March 9.
