Portuguese festival a success

Sunday started off with a traditional holy mass ceremony culminating with three priests blessing colourfully adorned, fully ladened, fishing boats as they set sail to sea.

People thronged to the V & A Waterfront at the weekend to enjoy the 29th annual Blessing of the Fishing Fleet, a Portuguese festival.
