When Tomorrow Comes

The exhibition When Tomorrow Comes opens at Michaelis Galleries, UCT Hiddingh Campus, 37 Orange Street, Gardens, from today Thursday August 4, at 5pm, and will run until Friday September 9. A group show, the exhibition brings together a range of pre-eminent South African and international artists to engage with “apocalypticism”, confronting the orthodoxy of “end times” and thinking beyond it to forms of survival, regeneration and rebirth. Participating artists include Willem Boshoff, Steven Cohen, Cyrus Kabiru, Volker März, Moffat Takadiwa, Jacki McInnes, Jyoti Mistry, Mohau Modisakeng and Diane Victor.
