The V&A Waterfront “Art in Public Places Programme” has seen a number of sizable outdoor artworks and sculptures exhibited in public plazas and open spaces across the popular precinct. Works by artists from across the continent and beyond are featured, including those by Noria Mabasa, Mohau Modisakeng, Cameron Platter, Carl Frederik Reuterswärd, Claudette Schreuders, and Gavin Young. The programme was launched on Thursday July 14, as part of the V&A’s inaugural Museum Night. Sculptures included in the V&A Waterfront Art in Public Places Programme are on view, free of charge, year round, 24 hours a day.
