Seafood, jazz and racing at Kenilworth

Punters can enjoy the racing.

The Cape Town Seafood and Jazz Racing Festival will take place on Saturday February 26 at Kenilworth Racecourse.

There will be a seafood village, live jazz performances by Jimmy Nevis, Nobuhle Ashanti Trio, Thandeka and the Cameron Ward Band, buskers and entertainment for children including face-painting, magic shows, jumping castles and pony rides.

Horse racing on the day includes the Jonsson Workwear Grade 1 Cape Derby where Double Superlative is the favourite, and the Khaya Stables Jockeys versus Work Riders challenge.

Gates open at noon and the festival ends at 8pm. Tickets cost R50 for adults and R25 for under-18s, with a family ticket for two adults and two children under-12 costing R100. Book through Webtickets. Guests over the age of 12 need to be fully vaccinated.
