Pop culture exhibition

■ South African sculptor, Hubert Barichievy will launch his latest range of “Pop-Busts” at 91 Loop Street, on Thursday May 4 from 5pm to 9pm, as part of the First Thursdays initiative. The first of Hubert’s busts were created a few years ago. The initial three muses were recognisable artists Frida Kahlo, Andy Warhol and Salvador Dali. The series has been extended to incorporate other significant people of the 20th and 21st centuries such as Desmond Tutu, Banksy, Marilyn Monroe, pictured, and Albert Einstein. The series on display includes 25 pop culture icons.
