Live concerts at Waterfront

Thunk will perform at the V&A Waterfront.

The V&A Waterfront will be hosting a series of free live concerts this summer at the Amphitheatre until February next year:

On Saturday December 8, at 7pm, singer, songwriter and performer, Deslynn Malotana will take the stage. The performance will last an hour.

On Sunday December 16, in celebration of the Day of Reconciliation, the University of Northwestern’s oldest a cappella group, Thunk, will perform at 7pm. Established in 1993, Thunk is comprised of students, with an intake of about 20 members each year. The group has put on notable performances in London, Chicago and at the Waterfront.

On Wednesday December 26, Hassan’adas will be performing an original assortment of African rhythms and sounds for everyone to enjoy. With John Hassan as the band lead, the band has performed globally and locally with legendary artists such as the late Miriam Makeba, the late Hugh Masekela, Simply Red and jazz artist Jimmy Dludlu, to name a few.
