Joining hands and hips for a good cause

The Feminine Divine Oriental Dance Studio will host World Belly Dance Day on Saturday May 13 at the Wave Theatre in the city centre.

World Belly Dance Day aims to unite belly dancers to support a good cause.

There will be live performances from more than 20 studios. Dancers range from brand new beginners through to the Western Cape’s top award-winning belly dancers.

All profits raised on the day will be donated to Rape Crisis.

World Belly Dance Day takes place from 11am to 5pm. Tickets cost R100 for adults and R60 for children under 12 through Webtickets.
