Inner city youth festival

Cape Town’s annual inner-city festival, ComUnity, had its Youth Day Reunion event at the Biscuit Mill last Monday, June 17, to coincide with the country’s Youth Day holiday. Visitors to the festival enjoyed local DJs including Lloyd and Sir Vincent; as well as locally-made clothing and food stalls. Pictured are Vuyiswa Gaba from Bo-Kaap and Asanda Sozawe from Kuils River.

Internet personality Nadia Japhta was also at the youth event.
Athi Nyengane from Brooklyn with Odwa Siko from Maitland
Linathi Mlonyeni and Bunono Mawaba, both from Langa
Nthabiseng and Tanaka Chamisa from Port Elizabeth
The festival took place at the Old Biscuit Mill.
