Going solo

■ Artist Derek Drake’s solo exhibition of paintings including Rock bottom will open at The Cape Gallery on Sunday February 19, at 4.30pm. Born in London in 1933, Derek studied art, print and graphic design before moving to Africa and working in advertising. He has exhibited at the Santam Gallery, the Lindbergh Foundation and The Cape Gallery. His works are held in collections in Switzerland, Germany, England, America and South Africa.UCT art lecturer Andrew Lamprecht will introduce the exhibition.
