A solo exhibition by artist Gavin Rain will take place at the Worldart Gallery from today, Thursday October 3, from 6pm to 9pm as part of First Thursdays. The exhibition will run until Thursday October 31. Gavin Rain is known for his arrangements of colourful dots that he morphs into portraits of iconic people when viewers step back or look at the paintings through the camera on their cellphones. This style of painting has won Rain accolades the world over with galleries in major cities regularly showing his paintings at exhibitions and art fairs. There will also be a launch of a new range of screen prints produced in conjunction with printmaker and founder of Warren Editions, Zhane Warren.
