The Ripped Genes 2019 Music Concert takes place on Saturday December 7 at the Artscape, from 3pm to 5pm.
This year’s show features blind and sighted artists in a range of musical genres, dance, art and fashion under the direction of producer Natalia da Rocha.
Among the musical talent are jazz and classical singer, Michelle Botha, songbird and radio personality, Bonita Blankenberg, piano maestro, Rodney van Staden and back from last year, Noeha Fortune Waja and world music duo, Mystacrispi.
The concert is a fund-raiser hosted by Retina SA Cape Town, a non-profit voluntary organisation raising awareness of retinal blindness as well as raising funds for research to find a cure for retinal blindness.
