■ A solo exhibition by Bastiaan van Stenis will show at the Worldart Gallery, 54 Church Street, from Thursday November 2 until Thursday November 30. The title of the exhibition, If there is Something, refers not only to his curiosity but also questions about people’s sense of reality. His work combines abstraction and surrealism and he uses paint, glue, cloth and other materials to create paintings. If there is Something opens on Cape Town’s popular First Thursdays evening on Thursday November 2, at 6pm.
