The internationally-acclaimed exhibition, Body Worlds Vital, will be run at The Watershed at the V and A Waterfront, from Tuesday August 9 to Sunday October 23. Seen by more than 42 million people in more than 100 cities across the globe, the exhibition allows visitors to see how lifestyle choices affect the body. It features 16 new full-body plastinates, which have never been seen before in Cape Town, as well as over 160 organs, body parts and transparent body slices, which show the human body’s keenly intelligent design, explore how it functions, and see what happens when disease strikes. The exhibition has also proven to be highly popular with school groups, who enjoy special discount options.
