A Voice I Cannot Silence at Fugard

The triple Naledi Theatre Award-winning production, A Voice I Cannot Silence, will run at the Fugard Theatre, corner Buitenkant and Caledon streets, District Six, until Saturday July 2. Based on the life of Alan Paton, and starring Ralph Lawson and Clare Mortimer, pictured, the production is an empathetic personal examination of life as portrayed through Paton’s own words, stories, poems and autobiographies. Performances for the run, which has been extended due to popular demand, start at 8pm, from Tuesdays to Saturdays, with additional matinee performances at 4pm on Saturdays. Tickets are R160 each (or R150 each for bookings of 10 or more). Bookings can be made through Computicket or by calling the Fugard Theatre box office on 021 461 4554. The production is not suitable under-13’s age.
